From my opus 2, "Berceuse" is dedicated to all the children who die during genocides, but also and especially to those who still survive. Voices are taken from children of the endlessly documented still ongoing genocide in Gaza, including voices of young Israelis refusing to participate in it.

For some months I have been saying in public that we are facing the Palestinian Holocaust.
I never wanted to be right. It breaks my soul to see that this terminology is already being used.
This is not an ideological issue. There is no ideology in survival. If we continue to justify the genocide of an entire population, we are doomed to the extinction of the human species. It is not a possibility. It is our destiny.
Nor is it a matter of there being stupidity, ignorance and incompetence in the world. When the normalized present is that anyone can scoff about a school or a hospital been bombed or that there are tens of thousands of dead children in the rubble, the human race as a whole has an expiration date.
It is not even a question of us allowing the stupidity to dominate the dialectics. It is a matter that we are tacitly, willingly and happily surrendering ourselves to the real evil that resides behind that which is dominating everything else.
This is no longer like 1939. This is indeed much, much worse. When one of us justifies the horror and humanity is silent, the effect is that all of humanity is justifying the horror.

Hace unos meses que vengo pronunciando en público que nos hallamos frente al Holocausto Palestino.
Nunca quise tener razón. Se me parte el alma al comprobar que ya se está utilizando esta terminología.
Esto no es una cuestión ideológica. No hay ideología en la supervivencia. Si seguimos justificando el genocidio de toda una población, estamos condenados a la extinción de la especie. No es una posibilidad. Es nuestro destino.
Tampoco es una cuestión de que exista estupidez, ignorancia e incompetencia en el mundo. Cuando el presente normalizado es que cualquiera pueda mofarse de que han bombardeado un colegio o un hospital o de que haya decenas de miles de niños muertos entre los escombros, la raza humana en su conjunto tiene fecha de caducidad.
Ni siquiera es una cuestión de que estamos permitiendo que los estúpidos dominen la dialéctica. Es una cuestión de que tácitamente nos estamos entregando voluntaria y felizmente a que la auténtica maldad que reside detrás domine todo lo demás.
Esto ya no es como 1939. Esto es efectivamente mucho peor. Cuando uno de nosotros justifica el horror y la humanidad calla, el efecto es que toda la humanidad está justificando el horror.
