1st story: while I was initially learning for my entry level license, I was desperate for accessible information. While commuting, I listened a lot to a certain "Foundations of Amateur Radio" podcast (from start to finish) and that made the whole shebang appear much more accessible. Great format. Thank you for that!

#introduction
Hello, I do mostly HF and that's what my shack is setup for. Modes are phone and I like RTTY. I am currently learning the code as well.
I am also interested in VHF+up but my location is not great for that. I plan to experiment with LEO sats and airplane scatter this summer. I enjoy outdoor radio with minimal gear (this is why I am learning telegraphy). I like contesting once in a while, I do this with the team at DP7D/DF0MU. Software guy that plays with hardware. MY1969

@F4LUB Same here. But it's one thing to stumble through a QSO at 12 WPM or to call CQ with a call-sign some people recognise and then be picked up by RBN 🙂
