In having to contend with AI despite not remotely wanting to, I find myself wondering about all the food companies and restaurants that had to deal with the onslaught of high fructose corn syrup and McDonald's-style processing in the 1960s and 1970s.

The solution to shitty social media platforms is not another shitty social media platform, but getting past the whole concept of “social media” as it’s been designed for the past 20+ years.

And honestly we’re not (yet) up to the task.

Great example of how culture, politics, and business today all center on the existential question of how much AI fraud and sludge the inflection points of any platform can take before it threatens the integrity of the entire system.
