Neurodiversity and Science - Fergus Murray - Medium

Is neurodiversity scientific? It’s an interesting question, which perhaps hasn’t received as much attention as it deserves. Neurodiversity is a paradigm (as well as a movement). Are paradigms…

Ever get annoyed by YouTube sticking things it thinks you’ll like in your search results, when you just want to find something specific? Turns out it doesn’t do that with the “before:” filter on. Just pick a date in the future and add it to your search: “my query before:2026”

I WILL NOT repost things here if they don't have image descriptions.

I end up adding the description myself, and frankly I pass over MANY posts that I would have quickly shared but I don't have the time to be everyone's mom and describe everything. (I just do that for the really great posts I can't pass up.)

Please, put #alttext on your images! It will make you more popular. It's polite. It makes your posts higher quality and easier to understand. It's cool. Just describe the images.

Weighted Blankets Really Can Do Wonders For a Good Night’s Sleep

By David Nield: Click through for the full post... Curling up under a weighted blanket is promoted as a way to reduce insomnia and improve sleep quality. A new review now adds some scientific credibility to the use of heavy comforters and quilts as sleep aids. Blankets made with extra mass give the body the feeling of a warm hug while sleeping.
