What we are seeing right now is a battle of centralization vs. decentralization.
Given that the centralized models (that have existed so far) have demonstrated that they cannot be trusted, and there is a camp that is pushing propertarian, monetized decentralization on polemic grounds, I vote to invest in Mastodon-type decentralized but open models that are not trying to shove monetary policy down anyone’s throat.
It is the only pro-democracy option.
