Anyone use hardware MFC authentication keys, and have opinions about them?

Are they a good solution?

I saw a video about YubiKey and looked it up on Wikipedia. Seems like a useful thing, but there are FOSS community concerns about it being closed-source.

The page also mentions NitroKey which appears to be a FOSS/Open Hardware alternative that supports (most of?) the same protocols.

A little video from our trail camera, set to take a timelapse (3000X -- one frame every 10s, converted to 30fps video) of the sunrising (and the first thaw for a few days, though it froze again after). You can also see a bird foraging in the lower right of the frame, about halfway through.

No noticeable melting -- I was hoping to see a bit more. Maybe tomorrow?

Sometimes Blender does weird stuff when you change parameters around and doesn't fully recover until you restart it. I guess it's minor bugs in the dependency graph code?

Anyway, I guess that must be what was happening with my shot file, because I opened it up after giving up on it in frustration weeks ago, and I did hardly anything to get it working as it's supposed to.

I mean, it's either that or Blender Elves.

Voila! Fixed.

But like... what did I do to fix it? It just worked this time.

Oh well. Not for me to look the gift horse in the mouth.

Off to the rendering server! Quick! Before it screws up again!
