A GOP legislator in FL introduced a bill to abolish the Democratic Party. Lawmakers in ID have a bill that would make it a crime to vaccinate people against Covid. Another in Montana wants to make it a crime for vaccinated people to give blood.

Imagine if publications like the NYT devoted even half as much space reporting on these kinds of efforts, as a trend, as they give to the right's trans panic, bullshit whining about "cancel culture" or college kids being too "woke."
