@inlovewithpda my experience is that many gnome apps are flawed, they crash and oftentimes hang up my system.That Windows feeling creeps up.
@fredericc30 older systems like my 2010 laptop (back then it was sort of high-end) struggle with #trixie. Mine freezes a lot during boot, sometimes I need to boot 3-4 times. Sometimes it stops responding when the session opens. I wanted Gnome 48 but #bookworm was much more stable on my system. For that reason my π2 remains with #bookworm

@vsantos Jessie from 2016? That's quite old.I did upgrade my π 2 to Bookworm a couple of years ago, but based on my experience with Trixie on a 64-bit laptop, I don't think I will apply Trixie to my ancient π 2.
@researchbuzz_firehose I have a π2 and waited for many months to be able to order a π5 during the (made up I believe) scarcity. In the end I got tired of the whole scheme and decided to remain with my old Raspberry π 2B instead... Thanks Raspberry!
