Software engineer with a growing passion for iOS and watchOS.

I recently updated my watch app Dance Calories:Arcade Burn to include new data screens. One screen gives me more a little more joy than the rest: The Activity Rings as retro arcade style status bars. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ•น๏ธโŒš๏ธ

My widget for the Chronicling app shows I havenโ€™t posted or really replied to anything for almost two weeks! Yikes! Quick update coming up next. Also note I missed iOS dev happy hour for Jan and still bummed out about it, definitely missing the iOS dev community
My favorite water bottle because of the limited edition RevenueCat sticker on it. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ Starting to take pictures if it goes on any adventures.
My day 30 of #shipaton - tough! I cut out a bunch of desired features. Definitely a lot of lessons learned that I will need to note down. I have to fix a firebase issue but then after that I'm done with features for MVP. As promised though, screenshots! #buildinpublic
Day 26 of my #shipaton journey! (yesterday was a typo, whoops!). Longest session to date, a lot of backend! But I got FireStore to grab my data. Once I finish integrating the data structures, I will finally address the UI, and then the SDK. #buildinpublic
Day 24 of my #shipaton journey: blood sweat and tears as I wrestled with more Firebase. But now users can Sign in with Apple ,sign out, and delete their account. The app feels a little more real. (Lot's of UI work still TBD). But with that, I'm calling it a night. #buildinpublic
Day 20 of my #shipaton journey: Made some UI updates. Shorter time this week, but longer sessions starting Saturday. Current coding roadmap: UI and general functions , backend pt1 (Firebase), RevenueCat SDK, backend pt2 (API). Excited to bring it all together! #buildinpublic
Day 19 of my #shipaton journey: shorter day today, focused on UI-centric items. Decided to jump on the Cursor bandwagon and give it a try. Very helpful! Especially with suggestions on possible refactoring or UI tweaks. #buildinpublic
Day 15 of my #shipaton journey! Fixed some sorting bugs but not all and had to abandon a feature. I put on my business hat and decided it was a "nice-to-have" and not a "must-have" as I need to keep pressing forward and get past this Core Data stage. #buildinpublic
Day 14 of my #shipathon progress: Bittersweet results! Got my sections working with SortedFetchRequest, but now introduced 2 bugs. Sorting is broken, and Iโ€™m getting a CoreGraphics NaN error. Definite yikes! I hope to take a closer look tomorrow at both. #buildinpublic
