My experience of a poly family so far is proving incredibly negative. In a complex situation I’m involved by proxy and so far someone’s selfish, inconsiderate and obnoxious behavior isn’t being managed by the others and is affecting my partner and me.

It doesn’t endear me to engaging with them as frankly I want no part of it until they prove they can engage with respect and consideration.

The fur community also seems to have a real problem with egotistical behaviour and I’m not here for it 🤢

At the pride parade in Washington, D.C., earlier this month, accounting giant Deloitte promoted its support of the LGBTQ community: In June 2023, Deloitte produced a report on "LGBT+ Inclusion @ Work." In a letter accompanying the report, Emma Codd, the company's Global Chief Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Officer, said she hoped it would enable organizations "to take the necessary steps to turn positive messaging on LGBT+ inclusion into concrete actions."

Trying to be the subbiest is not a cute look. If you’re trying to get other subs to Dom you all the time and you’re giving it the 👉👈

You’re really just being a pushy bottom and not respecting other’s submission and boundaries.

It has been a while! I am glad to see your house looking so radiant and seasonal with your Yule decorations. And of course the solstice approaches and new beginnings! I wish you and yours a very happy Solstice and Yule. I hope you have lots of delicious and delectable foods to eat over the season. Knowing the bounty of your garden and your cooking I am certain you will.

Very best wishes for the season over the electrical magik devices,

For the love of all things. Being trans in the UK is really, really shit right now. There is hardly a week that goes by that the Tories don’t shit on trans people more.

Please treat your trans friends gently and with compassion. A lot of stuff in the news right now really hurts

Damn!

@peertube with no hesitation dropped a truth bomb today...

"The realization that led us to develop PeerTube is that no one can rival YouTube or Twitch. You would need Google’s money, Amazon servers’ farms... Above all, you would need the greed to exploit millions of creators and videomakers, groom them into formatting their content to your needs, and feed them the crumbs of the wealth you gain by farming their audience into data livestock."

Apparently the BBC (UK) has had 144 complaints about a recent episode of #DoctorWho because it contained an openly #trans character.

I'm going to make a complaint to the BBC that there weren't enough #transgender characters in Doctor Who. I would love if 144 other people did the same thing. Here's the link: https://www.bbc.co.uk/contact/complaints/make-a-complaint/#/Complaint

(For your easy reference: "The Star Beast" aired on 25/11/2023, BBC One, and the trans character is called Rose.)

Reply when you've done it, so we can count us all. When we get to 145, everyone... gets a free BLÅHAJ? 🦈

Edit: 2 days later, mission successful: 159 complaints/comments submitted, and still climbing! A *huge* thank you everyone - stay tuned for hopefully some freedom of information requests!

Periodic reminder just leaving shit unplugged for hours does fix things. Fucking capacitors/resettable fuses are everywhere and you have to defeat them with waiting it out with ALL POWER REMOVED. Even your USB devices and screens with their own power. No power in contact with anything that’s connected.

Fixed a washing machine like this. Just fixed my motherboard despite me hitting the reset to defaults button AND removing the battery.

Sometimes you got to just give things a time-out in a corner to think about what they did.
