I build backends and frontends, mainly with PHP/Oracle and HTML/Angular/. Also: 🚵🏐🤿🧑‍💻🌏🕹️ and FF7

Datatype is a new OpenType font that allows you to create charts based on text expressions.

Unlike Chartwell, it is a variable font. It (currently) offers three chart types and handles pie charts slightly differently than Chartwell. I think it’s an interesting approach.

Datatype is open source under the SIL Open Font License. Designed by Frank Tisellano.

This is a good short-form video series about how LLMs technically work, I think a good thing to watch whatever your stance on them is or isn't

🚀Today, EXT:visual_editor for #TYPO3 has been released!

Matthias, Simon, Oli and a few others worked meticilously on this great gift: Managing content in your frontend's view!

This is made possible with new semantic content rendering, new fluid mechanisms, Record&Schema API working hand-in-hand. It all "just works" and I love it.

What a great future combined with v14's improved backend. #t3kudos

https://github.com/FriendsOfTYPO3/visual_editor/releases/tag/1.0.0

Attended #TYPO3 UserGroup and got introduced to the #WAF written in #PHP for e.g. shared hosting applications.

This can be used for any PHP Project, thanks to PSR-15: github.com/flowd/phirewall

I've no information about the ecosystem of WAF for PHP. Maybe this is also interesting for none TYPO3 projects, e.g. #Laravel, #Symfony, etc.

The TYPO3 integration adds a TYPO3 backend module to maintain rules on the fly: github.com/flowd/typo3-firewal…

Thanks to Sascha Egerer for building this. Thanks to TYPO3 Association and Members for financing the initial development.

Hierarchies should be trees and not loops.

Enforcing Acyclic Hierarchies With SQL Assertions

Introduction Referential integrity constraints have been available since version 7 of the Oracle Database. While these constraints ensure that referenced rows exist, they cannot express more complex integrity rules that span multiple rows or tables. Check constraints are similarly limited, as they can only validate conditions on the columns of a single […]
