Von PDF4WCAG ist ein Update erschienen. Verbessert wurde der Fehlerreport, und bei der Validierung wurde auf die PDF Association und deren jüngsten Beschlüsse reagiert. Im Gegensatz zum PAC funktioniert das Tool auch am Mac.

Allerdings: PDF4WCAG ist bei kommerzieller Nutzung nicht kostenlos.

When creating alternative text, the context in which an image is used in a publication is important. I am currently exploring various ways to extract and use it for the generation process.

Datatype is a new OpenType font that allows you to create charts based on text expressions.

Unlike Chartwell, it is a variable font. It (currently) offers three chart types and handles pie charts slightly differently than Chartwell. I think it’s an interesting approach.
