Initial report of breakage in ledger-cli caused by Claude.

I haven't verified this yet, and this is a pre-release version of ledger-cli, but still worrying.

With many thanks to Anthropic for supporting the Ledger project

The right wingers falsely demonized Hillary and Kamala so much, and still do, that instead they'd rather elect the closest thing to the antichrist that this world has ever seen. A certifiable malignant narcissist, who never once heard of a law he didn't want to break just to prove he could get away with it, as he always does, and still to this very day.

But elect a woman? Oh, hell, no!

@massam no one follows a blank profile
Anthropic claiming the chinese effectively copying claude. Aww bless, did they steal the data you stole too? Boo hoo.

Hypocrites.

You built an industry on scraping the internet and now you’re shocked someone scraped you. You normalized the idea that anything publicly accessible is fair game for training. That’s the precedent you set. I don’t want to hear you bitch about it now.

A really nice blog post on #emacs which I think captures the way many people feel about this tool:

"Every time I open my configuration, I discover something I can do better, a shortcut I didn't know about, a package that changes the way I work. It has taught me to develop patience, not to take the easy path, because nothing works on the first try: I read, I test, I break, I fix."

I've been using Emacs for a while now, and if it has taught me anything, it's not to settle. Every time I open my configuration, I discover something

Great episode about the ThinkPad X300 by @thinkpadmuseum and @laptopretrospective – such a good chemistry between the two ❤️ I was not aware how important that device was to the IBM/Lenovo story.

TPM021 - ThinkPad X300 (feat. Laptop Retrospective)

We’re kicking off the year 2026 with the most important ThinkPad Lenovo has probably ever built: the X300. It is the first notebook that Lenovo designed from scratch after acquiring IBM’s notebook divison in 2005. Together with Thomas Rogers, best known for his YouTube channel Laptop Retrospective, we’ll deep dive into the device history including its design phase and prototype. During CES 2026 Lenovo introduced two new ThinkPads: X9 15p Aura Edition and X1 Carbon Gen 14.

say what you want about the developer relations and developer advocates, but they're incredibly effective.

to wit: the mozilla's developer relations lead jake archibald made me switch away from firefox only in few weeks of communication, and i was using firefox since it was still called phoenix.
