When I do a web search, I do not want Google to go to the websites for me, pull the information, and interpret it for me. I want it to give me a list of websites that I can read and evaluate myself because AI is frequently wrong: https://techcrunch.com/2026/05/19/google-search-as-you-know-it-is-over/
Google Search as you know it is over | TechCrunch

Google is transforming Search from a list of links into an AI-powered experience filled with conversational answers, autonomous agents, and interactive interfaces — a shift that could further reduce traffic to publishers across the web.

2) THE RECLINING DRAGON🐉
The 'Garyū-rō' (臥龍廊 'Reclining Dragon Corridor') curls gently from the Kaizan-dō (開山堂) up the hillside, like the spine of a dragon.
Constructed in 1504 without the use of a single nail, the roofed staircase was repaired in the Shōwa period.

Today someone (who is not on Mastodon) released a collection of more than 570 distinct operating systems, pre-installed with VM configurations for the 250+ different platforms, going back all the way to 1948.

Now, I have to admit I'm posting this without trying it myself, as I'm running low on disk space on this machine.

Because the full download is 121GB (174GB unzipped!). There is also a lighter version at 14GB that will download stuff on demand.

Someone Shared a Real Monet Painting as AI and Asked for Critiques

Someone shared a real Monet painting as an AI image and asked for critiques as to why AI art is inferior to the real thing. Hilarity ensued.
