@gruber Curse you, John! Now I can't unsee this every time I walk past it.

I got some of my piano books spiral (coil) bound, so they would lay flat, when open, and I’m loving it so far.

They do flop a bit when on the piano, but that’s easily fixable by putting something stiff behind it.

But this is one the best $5 (per book) I’ve ever spent!

I just had to reboot my doorbell, because it stopped ringing, when pushing the button. And of course it works, after the reboot. Welcome to the future… (Ubiquiti G4 Doorbell, fwiw)
"SEALED for YOUR FRUSTRATION" I mean "PROTECTION"

I find all sheet music sites pretty expensive/scammy. You pay $6 for a single song, which doesn’t even include a PDF download. That’s an extra $3, so $9 total.

This seems pretty high when you can buy a whole printed book of 10+ songs for around $16.

I could watch the “He’s an *angry* elf!” scene from “Elf!” a million times and *still* laugh. One of my top-5 movie scenes of all time.

What percentage of people who have watched Axel F by Crazy Frog know who Axel Foley is or even Eddie Murphy?

5.5 *billion* views on YouTube?! Kids these days...

This is an important, eloquent piece by @aphyr - worth a boost I’d say: https://aphyr.com/posts/397-i-want-you-to-understand-chicago

What he wants you to understand is the experience of being under siege by the secret police.

I Want You to Understand Chicago

@schwa You still using Raindrop over Pinboard?

@jamis Oh, and thank *you* for the book! Apart from the awesome ray tracer knowledge, it’s a master class in unit testing and TDD. Except in a few cases, it all “just works” the first time, if you can get the tests passing.

Also thank you for the Maze book. Had fun with that one, too…
