"The Game Changer" highlights how Reid gained and secured his power not by overturning or meaningfully challenging any of the assumptions of his era, but instead by faithfully working squarely within them.

OPINION: Harry Reid changed the game — but what was the game?

Though Reid was “a Democrat by choice” who believed in working people and helping the poor, he also believed in “Nevada know-how” — and Nevada know-how meant fighting every single gambling and mining tax that reached the Senate floor.

We are aware of recent reports regarding targeted phishing attacks that have resulted in account takeovers of some Signal users, including government officials and journalists. We take this very seriously.

To be clear: Signal’s encryption and infrastructure have not been compromised and remain robust. These attacks were executed via sophisticated phishing campaigns, designed to trick users into sharing information – SMS codes and/or Signal PIN – to gain access to users’ accounts.

In case you were wondering, before this morning's Iran attack, Polymarket had yet another spate of likely inside traders betting that the US would strike Iran by February 28.

Per the due diligence investigation service Bubblemaps, the wallets used were first used 24 hours earlier.

A long-standing issue — one that makes fuel prices unnecessarily expensive in Nevada and that Republicans and Democrats should be able to work together to solve — is the environmental and economic damage caused by the Jones Act.

Blame our ‘Buy American’ mania for high gas prices

Federal policy is almost willfully against helping Nevadans get some relief at the gas station or transition away from California’s aging refineries — and it has been for longer than people think.

Stay in school kids.

Ut oh! We just got 2mos of snow fall in 1wk with a warm storm possible next week.

"Next storm is projected Mon-Wed. This one is..warmer with more of an atmospheric river component..indicating 7000-8000' rain-snow lines Tues so there's potential for 2-3" rain in the mountains with 0.5-1" in W Nevada. This..introduces concern for flooding..but at this point we're too far out to know..probably not a bad idea to clean out plugged/snow blocked drains & gutters this weekend."

Nevadans deserve a fair and impartial judicial branch. We'd get closer to getting one if we stop electing justices — most of whom voters know nothing about — and instead select them according to merit.

Fortunately, Nevada is already most of the way there.

OPINION: Remind me again why we still elect judges?

Nevadans deserve a fair and impartial judicial branch, one that reflects Alexander Hamilton’s dictum that it should possess judgment, not will. The way to get closer to this goal is to stop electing justices and instead carefully select them according to merit.

“If you approach law enforcement with a gun, there is a high likelihood they will be legally justified in shooting you" is quite the message from an administration that built its support from armed protesters in Nevada, Michigan, DC, and elsewhere.

OPINION: Defunding ICE and impeaching Noem is a good first step

The right to bear arms, of course, is not the first right to be violated by the Trump administration in Minnesota, nor will it likely be the last.
