David Hockney passed away at 88 years old today.
He changed the way I see, photograph, (sort of) draw, and think.
He will get a celebrity’s death; the world knew him. A very public mourning for a man always in my head.
I dreamt I met him and he was so lovely and kind.

Since the beginning of the year 2026, we have been receiving bug reports generated by LLMs. It has never been as bad as with curl last year though. It also started later than curl and with better quality of the reports than what Daniel Stenberg describes. We are not totally overwhelmed by the reports, yet
@fastmail here I was hoping I’d be able to create a calendar entry from the command line using your awesome JMAP but instead it’s more AI infested stuff we didn’t ask for that bakes the planet.
From a technical perspective the way you’ve done this looks clean and sensible https://www.fastmail.com/blog/an-mcp-server-for-fastmail/ but why again (even at FastMail lolsob) is this AIshittification happening?
Was this your most requested feature? Are customers leaving because they want MCP? I have support requests over a year old.
