Loving using #Linux tag on here. Seeing heaps of super interesting and useful posts. (I don't know if I can deal with "toots" yet.) Although many read like to a noob like me: "Sick of your HGDTS not working with your TREWQ, try trewqer now to resolve all your GHDSA issues!" Meanwhile, after being on Linux for 6ish months, and distrohopping a bit, I am finally aout to do a version update on Fedora which is my - as the kids say - daily driver now. 😬 Crossing everything.

@dlundh workstation/gnome guy myself, but big cosign on general ease. My work is 100% on a Windows laptop provided by job, and the mental switch at the end of the day when I go to my personal devices is actually a delight.

Forgive the random q on unrelated topic, but am finally actually using mastedon/fedi and trying to understand how it all works. You're clearly posting to both here and bluesky from one app? I think. Is it just a Buffer type thing? Or are you using a third-party something that brings it all together? 🙏🤷 Please and thank you.

@matthew @tehstu before lucking into some dell laptops, I was eying off buying an old imac to muck around on. Reddit appeared to flag sound issues on imacs from 2015 and prior? I have no idea if this is actually the case. Anyone have experience with that? I am still semi curious because I love the screen and all in one idea.
@ftranschel Currently doing the same. Much swearing every time I try and open anything. OneDrive integration might actually be worse than Copilot, but it's close. Thankfully, have got laptops converted to Linux, so baby steps.
