Overall, Google's new Performance Max features are a step in the right direction for melding automation with advertiser control. It's on us to strategically leverage these tools to maximise results for our clients!
While the new features are exciting, some core limitations remain. Performance Max still offers less granular control and transparency vs. standard campaign types. Google has more room for improvement here.
To make the most of these updates, PPC pros need to maintain a tight feedback loop. Constantly review performance data, test new strategies, and iterate based on AI-powered insights.
Google is doubling down on automation and AI 🤖, with new insights predicting demand shifts and providing optimization recommendations. The more data we feed the machine, the smarter it gets at driving performance.
