High time for a #introduction. I created account when the Musk buyout of Twitter was first announced and sort of cooled when it looked like that might be on the rocks.
Seems like I'm looking for a new home and at the moment here and cohost.org seem to be the best candidates.
I'm a land surveyor (recently licensed, heh should really learn to spell that).
I have interests in visual art, comics, film (sci-fi and noir are particular favourites), video games (particularly retro gaming, RPG's, Grand Strategy and Sony 'sad dad' games - what a spectrum!) as well as science and technology, politics (national and international), sport (Essendon in the AFL, Aston Villa in football) and travel.
