A family of five in has been without electricity for over two weeks due to the US government shutdown freezing federal aid programs. Their service can't be restored until the full $460 is paid.
We've raised $250 so far. Temps are forecast to drop to near freezing at night with snow forecast next week.

Our extended family in Pennsylvania has been without power for over a week due to delays in LIHEAP funding.
They are a couple with three kids and charities have already helped reduce the balance, but $460 is still needed before they can get their power back on.
