I am pleased with my new lino cut prints by rural North Dakota artist Sabrina Hornung, the alabaster disaster herself. Sabrina is a renaaissance artist, writer, editor, farmer, actress... she does it all, and she does it all well, with a bit of humor and attitude.
These days have been 25 degrees warmer than usual, leaving our favorite lake sloppy and largely unenjoyable for outdoor recreation.
They told me to take down this #maple tree 15 years ago. Obviously I haven't. And it still stands, giving life to birdscand insects, and shade. It attracts huge pilated woodpeckers, which I love.
Some day it will fall, but not today.
