When I'm in doubt
I return to the Dao
The Dao is the Way
It's clear as day
And dark as night
It just feels right
like a flowing river.
The eternal caregiver.
Then I exert
effortless effort
and shamelessly flirt
with the dirt, the trees,
the birds and the bees,
the graceful ease
of the ocean breeze.
I fall in love
With the stars above,
the earth below,
the fire's glow,
the water's flow,
Eternally nameless.
