The Creepers in Mickey 17 are not peaceful creatures at all. They’re brutally cruel. For example, when a baby Creeper was killed, its mother bluffed that the humans had to sacrifice one of their own, or she would wipe out the entire human species. The result of this bluff? An innocent Mickey duplicate was executed for no reason. This reveals that the Creepers aren’t benevolent beings, they’re ruthless and manipulative.

One lesson I'd like to share about organising protests against the far-right and authoritarianism. Here in Munich, where we had protests with 200.000+ participants in 2024 and 2025, there was one simple rule.
No politicians were allowed to speak on stage. Only activists and victims speak.
The politicians, no matter what they promise at a protest, go back to their parliaments, think they've done enough and continue with business as usual. So remember: It's our protest. Not their photo-op. 1/4

Ilya is one of the defendants in the “Network case”, in which the FSB fabricated an entire terrorist organization just to earn stars on their epaulets. In 2020, a Putin-controlled court sentenced Shakursky to 16 years in a high-security penal colony. Despite the long sentence, Ilya does not give up. He continues to publish articles, essays, and poems. Last year, his book “Notes from the Darkness” was released in Russian language.
Coffeedate with ADHDI feel that. I've already played through such good arguments in my head, only for me to blow them out of proportion in the second sentence. And the very first question throws me completely off course. Until I no longer know what I actually wanted to say.
The fact that the Center for a Stateless Society openly proposes these exploitative rates to potential collaborators reveals either a fundamental ignorance of labor value or a blatant disregard for worker dignity. If mutualism means workers receiving the full value of their labor, then this compensation structure isn’t just hypocritical, it’s indefensible.
Even the most exploitative companies I’ve worked for paid better than this. At least they provided a livable monthly wage. The Center for a Stateless Society expects anarchist translators - many of whom are already struggling - to work for crumbs while they expand their ideological reach. If you claim to be mutualists than pay workers the full value of their labor. Otherwise, you are not building an alternative, you are cosplaying radicalism while replicating capitalist wage theft.
C4SS offer up to 10–25 per article, meaning potential collaborator could earn as little as 40-100 monthly for 4 articles. Meanwhile, standard translation rates range from 0,05-0,50 per word. A 1,000-word article at 0.05/word = $50, yet Center for a Stateless Society offer to pay a flat rate regardless of length - meaning a 10,000-word piece earns the same as a 1,000-word one. While the organization cites a "tight budget" to justify these poverty rates, it provides no financial transparency.
