The editorial resources and Star Wars heroines corner.
Whoops, how'd that happen? #canlit
@wtwagg Beauty.
And now we have reached the "but why isn't there naptime at work" portion of the day.
@vollink This is my first of hers. I love it. Spot-on characterization and great plotting. It's fun on audio, as they use classic soundtrack and foley to underscore it.
@RobotFencer LOL we did. For this document that was looking at how time in a classroom should be divided up for different topics, we went with estimation as denoting the overall process as well as result (there were a number of estimates that went into the overall estimation).
@edenbt I loved The Book of Dust! Such a fascinating way to revisit that world. I'll add Version Control to my list, thanks for the rec!
"Wait, what IS the difference between 'an estimate' and 'an estimation'?" #Editorial conversations on a Friday.
Is #FridayReads a thing over here? I just finished Sharon Bala's The Boat People and Katie O'Neill's utterly charming The Tea Dragon Society. Audiobooking Star Wars: Bloodline by Claudia Gray and narrated by January LaVoy. Not sure what I'm in the mood to read next.
So, a couple of days on Mastodon, and I'm having a lot of fun. It reminds me of my old LiveJournal days, browsing the Flist, chatting with people in other communities.
