MeAnd odd fellow, probably autistic, definitely a cat lover

Hmmm #Artemis2 has a 40 minute LOS. This is incredibly poor performance from NASA mission planning.

The mission should have been planned to have a 42:50 LOS.

This would give them exactly the right amount of time to listen to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon...

We have a sad tale today from Manchester Piccadilly station.

This is Chocolat. Or at least that's the name printed on their foot.
They're a lovely, cuddly black kitty who was sadly separated from their owner on Platforms 3 & 4 about 19.14.

We heard a tinkle of broken glass and helped their owner tidy up however she had left before I could pass this lovely kitty back to her owner.
Unable to find her on the nearby train we are a bit lost.

Please share this far and wide, across any social media and maybe we can help reunite this poor kitty with their rightful owner.
We will ensure Lost Property here look after her in the meantime.

Hi #fediverse. We need to talk about something.

While talking to a colleague about how I recently learned most people have never sat on a crow it came up that she has never been sat on by a cat. Like, not even once during childhood.

Another colleague admitted they also have never been sat on by a cat.

My hypothesis is that most people have at one point in their life sat on by a cat.

Have you ever been sat on by a cat?

"Ministers are facing questions over why the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) is using a strict screening process to filter out potential recruits with #health conditions, while repeatedly complaining that too many #disabled & #older people are not in #jobs." Very much par-for-the-course, @ChrisMayLA6, @HarriettMB.

One of the "funniest" is when I worked on supercomputers at 3InitialCorp, which was a very buttoned down, blue suit red tie kinda place, but I worked in the servers, so I dressed like a geek; concert tshirts, jeans, doc martins, visible tattoos, weird hair. I was young...early 20s...so about 40 years ago, pre dotcom.

I got a typed letter, hand signed by an executive, which I still have somewhere, which "reminded" me that the dress code for women was knee length skirts, panty hose, heels, well coifed hair, and manicured nails.

And I invited the executive & HR down to the pit with it's wire grate walkways, and pointed up and said "You're telling me to wear skirt and heels and walk around on that? You wanna run that past your lawyer first, or should I call mine?" They changed the dress code to casual for my dept.

And people want to know why there weren't a lot of women in tech in the beginning. Huh. Weird, that.

Happy birthday to the bloke from HOT FUZZ

My favourite piece of internet today is the theory that Jesus was actually a type of yeast.

Turns water into wine
Floats on water
Makes bread for 5000 people
Put in a cave for 3 days and lo - he has risen!
Jesus was a sourdough starter.

Also this would imply: We should be calling him 'Mother' not 'Father'
