Datasette is "an open source multi-tool for exploring and publishing data" - but recently I've started thinking of it as "WordPress for data"
It's a Python web application that provides an interface and API for any structured data that can be represented in a SQLite databases - and since SQLite also includes support for both binary and JSON data that's effectively anything at all
The project just had its 5 year birthday

I was genuinelly shocked how good the music was given the price, not a lot of the stuff grabbed me off the spotify playlist but went down much better live, best way to spend a weekend.
The Great Western kicks off with Deadletter at The Hug & Pint. The small basement room is already almost at capacity by the time the band get going, and is quickly a ‘one in, one out’ situation. Frontman Zac Lawrence is at his acerbic best, channelling some Ian Curtis moves to go with his Malcolm … more... "The Great Western"

Eilean nam Ban, known locally as Seagull Island, is a mile or so out of Kinlochleven on the north side of Loch Leven. Historically, it was used as a meeting point for clan chieftains to settle their differences and more recently as a location for a slightly more adventurous wedding.

This photo was taken at sunrise during a short stay in Kranjska Gora 🇸🇮 while on our way to Bled.
This shot of lynx taken in 2015 in Bavaria, Germany, is still one of my favorites.
Usually I prefer photos where the subject is looking straight at me and I did take such shots that day. Still, I chose this one as it just feels better. Like I've been allowed to peek to another world without disturbing anything.
