Still making new mistakes.

Cruel to be kind, it's a very good sign
Cruel to be kind means that I love you, baby
You've gotta be cruel to be kind
@sitnik_en @fdroidorg Its primary/original meaning was loading from local sources. The assumption is that if you have something locally and chose to load it it is at your own risk / you know what it is (possibly because you built it yourself). Of course, supply chain attacks are a thing, and "built it yourself from local and imported ingredients" is no guarantee that the product is free of contaminants. A better solution than Google's "ban it", to this threat landscape, would be nice..
At least media The system knew how to boot from was easy enough to brute force read. The memory of reverse engineering the proprietary backup tape format that the proprietary tape backup restore software refused to do anything with because of some mild corruption, on a system that had no inbuilt support for tape or even the SCSI controller is in permanent storage. Where did I just leave my keys? No idea. I think there's a bug in my LRU caching wetware.
What did JavaScript do to you today?

Correct. Not much wildlife in Australia is really trying to kill you. It's just deadly and trying not to get trodden on, or simply accident prone, due to having a very small brain and very large feet, resulting in a tendency to startlingly arrive in your car via the windscreen. The exceptions are Great White Sharks, Saltwater Crocodiles, and Cassowary.

A pitch that attracted the $ was "write once run anywhere". There was FOMO. If it really were the "one" then nothing else would be being run anywhere.. We need to get on board! Then keep the hype alive. Java as another compiler and runtime with ideas above its station could be mediocre (but well funded) and succeed. Blockchain ledgers for everything are unwieldy and the hype only gets things so far. LLM all the things is a lot more like the latter.
@hacks4pancakes
Its sad that this is exported. Imagine how jarring this is when you live somewhere with a still functioning employees actually have rights and get paid a wage by their employers and don't survive off tips (just as well, they don't get any) and then on the way home from the restaurant in an uber you are thrown into "I must give 5 stars" and a tip if there was any actual effort at all and.. Its a pandemic.
@BeamsAndBows @malwaretech Literally? Like before you deposited it in X bank? Sends a message I guess.

You mean charged with the same thing that someone representing immesirably small amounts of substances rumoured to treat things diagnosed by indicators with no statistical correlation to actual illnesses as a treatment is charged with? Just need a "homeopathy" topic in github and grift away!
@thegibson
Some of us hope for something to change the trajectory. This has to be global. I guess if this is that US centric it's not what I thought it was. I'd donate to something that wasn't. I can't donate because I'm not a good ol boy. :(
