Someone on GitHub is providing a medically-tuned LLM where the readme says “This is an open-source project with a mission to provide everyone their own private doctor” with absolutely no mention of the risks and limitations. AI Ethics grade: F-
The only safety net here is that you need to know how to run a pip command to install it
oh btw they’re intentionally jailbreaking the underlying LLM system so it will go over the guardrails 🙃
@0xabad1dea Surely this will not cause death.
@kawa @0xabad1dea this needs to result in the developer being charged with the same thing as a person fraudulently representing themselves as a medical professional would be
@http_error_418 @kawa I thought it might be a well-meaning literal child but I looked into the account and it’s a guy with hundreds of repos with names like “making money with tensorflow” and “how to build a bitcoin startup” so this just keeps getting worse the longer I look

@0xabad1dea @http_error_418 @kawa

They got Capone on tax evasion

This grifter going down on medical malpractice would be acceptable

@0xabad1dea @http_error_418 @kawa All of this sounds horrible and evil and fucked. I still might want to use it because it will likely listen better to me than my own medical system.
@http_error_418 @kawa @0xabad1dea
You mean charged with the same thing that someone representing immesirably small amounts of substances rumoured to treat things diagnosed by indicators with no statistical correlation to actual illnesses as a treatment is charged with? Just need a "homeopathy" topic in github and grift away!
