so I recently decided to try recovering teletext from VHS tapes and I'm really impressed with how good quality recoveries you can get from a medium that seemingly never had enough bandwidth to store it
Below are restored captures from 1997 and 2001 respectively
(note that the character encoding is wrong because the software I'm using doesn't support the Czech national character set)
The wonderful thing about fediverse is that 3/4 of my notifications are the same 2 people refollowing me after switching instances
@vwestlife I've once had the revenue for a YouTube video only appear properly a month after it was supposed to because of a copyright claim dispute. I won the dispute but was still worried that I wouldn't get the money, since it took so long to appear after that
