so I recently decided to try recovering teletext from VHS tapes and I'm really impressed with how good quality recoveries you can get from a medium that seemingly never had enough bandwidth to store it
Below are restored captures from 1997 and 2001 respectively
(note that the character encoding is wrong because the software I'm using doesn't support the Czech national character set)
