@vandal sure. But you asserted that people had to name their .icon file as AppIcon.icon. That’s not true.

@vandal I don’t think that’s true. You do, however, have to update your build settings to use the name of the icon file.

Your approach worked because the unchanged build settings pointed at the new file.

@MuseumShuffle @averyvine back in the day we used the NSLocalizedString-in-a-comment approach to feed string catalogs when we needed dynamic lookup of strings at runtime. Hadn’t thought about that in a decade
