She/Her. Lefty in hand and belief.

New here. Please bear with me as I work on figuring out how I want to use this platform.

I'm always reading something or exploring world music. I enjoy having a quiet life. I like to walk. I use public transportation and find myself growing increasingly anti-car these days. (I don't care if you have a car, I just choose not to have one. I get around fine and I'm OK.)

I refuse to tolerate classism, racism, and inequality.

This was fun!

I got 0.0068 - I did well!

I sometimes want a big goofy bad breath dog, but I don't have the kind of commitment it takes to be a friend to a dog.

Our city had to use independent contractors to plow snow because a bunch of the city trucks were down. The streets are plowed, but the plows left huge mounds of snow at crosswalks and at bus and transit stops. If you are disabled, you are fucked. If you are able bodied, it's still tricky. People are forced to walk in the streets - which are often one lane because of how they were plowed. People are climbing over snow in the city to cross streets. It's fucked.
What I really hate about the ChatGPT ads is that it is always something you could easily find online and often a real community around it (running, excise, cooking etc) but instead they want to destroy that, they want to build glorious walls around simple human interaction and hobby so you depend on a company that stole it all from the community and will now destroy it.

And it's some long rambling series of bizarre paragraphs about a walrus who "helped" spies during WWII.
"I know this is written by AI and the photo attached to the story is inaccurate but the story is so heartwarming, I'll post it anyway." shit on Facebook from people who always want you to know how socially and culturally aware they are has me ready to disappear.

Took a 5mg 50/50 THC and CBD capsule yesterday that didn't kick in for almost 6 hours and hit me really hard before bed with anxiety and bad head vibes.

Like, wtf? I don't drink anymore. Sometimes I'd like to experience other types of intoxication without stuff like that happening.

I am surprised it took that long, though. Slow metabolism?
