She/Her. Lefty in hand and belief.

New here. Please bear with me as I work on figuring out how I want to use this platform.

I'm always reading something or exploring world music. I enjoy having a quiet life. I like to walk. I use public transportation and find myself growing increasingly anti-car these days. (I don't care if you have a car, I just choose not to have one. I get around fine and I'm OK.)

I refuse to tolerate classism, racism, and inequality.

@CoolerPseudonym Ha ha! I didn't know what that image was from at first (never watched the show) and thought, "Ew, gross" before and after I realized it was those sex city people.
@CoolerPseudonym Not reading it, but if an article about low birth rates isn't specifically about the extreme and rising costs of having/raising kids I don't think it's worth publishing.
@weirdofhermiston I am sometimes relieved when some of the Common Pleas judge secretaries send emails with emojis. I use them with them. There are others who never use them.
@CoolerPseudonym I was listening to international news this morning and had to turn it off because my heart started beating rapidly.
@weirdofhermiston This is why I think I like older TV - the variety of faces. I also like non-US shows for similar reasons even though there seems to be more of a shift to perfection and highly stylized bullshit. But I have noticed that non-US TV seems to feature more older and fat people in various compex roles, not just jokes or "living life the wrong/tragic way" tropes. I know it's just TV, but this shit matters.
@weirdofhermiston They really screwed up a great opportunity.
@CoolerPseudonym I've seen two bands in recent years that I spent more time listening to when I was a lot younger than I do now and I was glad I did. I just felt pretty sleepy before the shows ended.
@CoolerPseudonym As soon as I saw "Bad" I thought, "I hope he hasn't caught up on the news." I'm sorry. It's all very serious and infuriating.
@Bislick Damn it. I'm sorry.
@Bislick Damn it. I understand these frustrations. If you are handy in any way, I would suggest trying to find repair videos on You Tube for the model if it's possible for you to attempt. There is a wealth of step-by-step repair information there, especially for things that would be possible for a regular person.
