Decided to take a visit to one of my favorite parks today and came across this bright flower basking in the morning sun. I really enjoy hiking the trails and hearing the sounds of the surrounding birds and wildlife.

Saw this cute little guy (or girl!) hanging out in the pond and I couldn't help but be amused at the green moss growing around its head like living hair. As I moved in closer, I was surprise it didn't get spooked when I came in for a close up. It was as if the turtle simply people-watching just as much as people were watching the turtle 🤭. I suppose the wild life in the park are quite use to seeing people in the area. I'm really thankful to be able to visit beautiful parks like this.
