@Jjhillwrites @cstross wandering.shop's user base rose approximately 1000% in the past ten days, they've currently suspended new member requests (and have upgraded their server to cope with demand). It may still be problematic; as of a few minutes ago I was getting tons of timeouts trying to connect.
I have no idea who created @[email protected] —it wasn't me!—but it's not one of my accounts and you shouldn't trust it.
Max KennerlyMarch: Elon Musk reaches out to The Babylon Bee and makes what is apparently the first reference to buying Twitter, then posts a poll asking if Twitter "rigorously adheres" to the principles of free speech.
October: The Babylon Bee files an amicus brief with SCOTUS arguing "parody shouldn’t be stripped of constitutional protection just because it’s not clearly labeled as parody."
November: Musk bans parody on Twitter unless clearly labeled. 🙃
Over on twitter I am seeing how long it takes the mods—if there are any left—to hit on me for hurting Elon Musk's feelings by renaming myself.
Currently I'm up to "Elon Musk swives goats" (having skipped "fuck" because that's low-hanging fruit for bluenose bots), having started with "Elon Musk sucks goats" and, well, you get the picture.
Am thinking of ramping up to "Elon Musk swives goat clunge" tomorrow morning.
Any suggestions for where to go next?

You get the cartoon a day or two early, plus a blog-style essay, either about the work, or whatever else I've been thinking about. The one that's going out tomorrow is about difficult anniversaries and grief, with some digressions into my brief time as a radio producer...
