@caseyjohnston The tough parts are true, but oh my god these good parts are true, too. I love having these little maniacs in my house even as they drain the energy and patience straight out of me. They make every bit of suck so worth it.

@dustyburwell We told our big kid that his little brother thinks he is the best person in the whole wide world (he totally does). So he’s gonna model what he does after what you do.

I sang him the same little playlist so many times I still remember the order. Devonshire and Crown, King of the Road, Big City (Merle Haggard, not Op Ivy) Wagon Wheel, the Whaler, Don’t Pray on Me, Waiting, Nashville Tennessee, and then the Replacements.

@pat I love these tracks on their live house of blues album, and I think a lot of them greatly benefited from being just a little bit faster.
