Because of the timing of the layoffs in October, there was a lapse in coverage, which they’re entitled to as part of their severance. This fund will help bridge the gap while waiting for reimbursement.
For "Talk Like A Pirate Day" today, to address some questions his kids had about his musical background, Blackbox Squeezebeard dug up this never-before-shared archival recording of the final Creaking Planks set at the Wooden Boat Festival, where all the regular Planks had burned out and he was able to lean on his old Outlaw Band colleagues K-Sun da Bear and "Zippy" Zaenker to give our alt-nautical set one more trot around the, er, reef.
