@[email protected] Yes, an embryo is not a human and nor is a zygote. Indeed, I find it hard to imagine that people who regard a zygote to be a human have thought it through. However, when a birth is "overdue", the fetus is further developed than most babies at their birth, and I have some difficulty in accepting the almost universally applied definition that the birth is the event that turns a fetus into a human. It seems to me that a fetus acquires a modicum of human rights shortly before being born.
