I’m Larry Cornett, a writer who spent way too many years of my life writing design specifications, product requirements documents, and business plans. I yearned to break free and explore the words that flow when my imagination is allowed to run wild. This newsletter is a collection of my work when my sleeping mind is allowed to come out and play.

Where Are They Now?
-----------
I found it in a clearing
Buried deep in the old forest
The walls still standing
The roof sadly sagging
Windows cracked, shattered
Door forced open and vulnerable

The Death of Me
------------------

Twisting and swaying
Beautiful and threatening
I need to be near
I can’t stay away
Even though I know
What comes next

Some Doors
------

Some doors
Once opened
Can never be closed
Some choices
Once selected
Change you forever
Some decisions
Once made
Become irreversible
There are paths
You can take
From which you never
Return

Duality
---------
Feed me bitterness
So life may taste sweet
Show me ugliness
So I may see beauty
Bring me suffering
So I will know pleasure
