Drew SmithHi, I'm a #nine avoiding responsibility. #TIL mastodons were smaller than African elephants, and much smaller than mammoths. Check out this Mastodon skeleton next to a regular human man. Way smaller than I expected. I also learned that #Michigan had a pretty big mastodon population.

Like a whole lot of other people, I'm re-ramping my Mastodon presence and damping down the #birdsite
Gonna try to drag a few more people over, because it's ultimately the richness of the web that makes it all work.
Corridor, flanked by collapsed roof deck on the left (sun through the cracks above make the concrete look like it's glowing); I go some interesting places from time to time.
I mean, I enjoy going out to project sites and engaging with project issues and all that. But after last week of rainy, windy, wet, and oh-dark-early, it's nice to have a roof overhead.
Today I am working indoors - inside a building with heating and everything - and that is a good thing.
This is the first time I've seen something like this:
(Suspect a few folks around here might have a suggested replacement to fill that space, too.)
I think the office "cupcakes" are, in fact, blueberry muffins (from a box) with jar frosting spread on top.
