Has anyone else ever conflated Gollum and Agent Smith? The longer the time from when I've seen The Matrix, the more I hear Agent Smith's monologue to Morpheus in Gollum's voice. Not necessarily Andy Serkis's Gollum, but something in between him and theodore Gottlieb's Gollum from the Rankin Bass The Hobbit.
