rob pikeDoes anyone have any technology that works? I am becoming despondent over the state of things. So much technological progress and yet everything seems to be broken (or must be updated, which amounts to the same thing in user experience) all the time.

@cosmin thanks yeah really nice to have unlimited domains and mailboxes with migadu. With porkbun yes you can edit DNS records, you just have to transfer the domain to them and pay a one year renewal, which adds on to the amount of time you already have the domain for.

FWIW I use syncthing for syncing files between machines and rsync for deploying files, with web files also being stored in git. 😄

Migrated away from Gandi, both mail and DNS registrar services, and had my account deleted. What a pain, but hopefully now I am set for a good long time and won't have any rugs pulled out from under me.
I swear I found an official looking gandi fediverse account recently that I would tag, but can't find it now, it's not linked to from their webpage, so whatever. Smell ya later #gandi
