In a hilarious moment of irony, my first couple attempts to post this failed and I screenshot it.
Even more amusing is that this would normally be a fairly serious flaw, were it not for the fact that I was completely unable to reply to any tweets on the bird all for like 6hrs yesterday.
Every time Elon opens his mouth about software and reveals himself to be LARPing, I get a little more hopeful that one day we as a society will be able to generalize this insight and realize that his entire career has been this.
I’m completely flabbergasted, for example, that we haven’t all just been pointing and laughing at this whole scene since forever:
<sigh>
Don’t love this stance; don’t love this statement.
Strange vote. Feels like an opportunistic move at an in opportune time to me.
“The stock was down by over half in 5 months, while a major market index it is part of was down 6% over the same period.”
In 100% of cases, this is gross mismanagement, fraud, or both.
From growing revenues to revenues down 40% in 6 weeks.
Bird site likely terminal IMO.
Elon goes on a spaces last night to chat with an intern who is leaving the company (yes really) and says a lot of things, including:
- company was previously tracking to spend 5b
- now has 1.5b in debt servicing
- on track to take in 3b revenues
- negative cash flow of ‘about 3b’
- 1b cash in the bank
Yet he fails to mention that before the acquisition Twitter was in a fairly steady state (cashflows).
1/5
As TSLA gets absolutely smoked in no small part due to his erratic behavior, Elon takes to the website he now owns to berate the shareholders who are losing their ass.
Incredible scenes.
