Every time Elon opens his mouth about software and reveals himself to be LARPing, I get a little more hopeful that one day we as a society will be able to generalize this insight and realize that his entire career has been this.

I’m completely flabbergasted, for example, that we haven’t all just been pointing and laughing at this whole scene since forever:

@coloradotravis

Many people who have technical knowledge on the relevant subjects have already realized that. For example, his handling of Twitter already opened the eyes of every IT professional...

@JorgeStolfi

Absolutely, it’s the generalized awareness I await with bated breath.

@coloradotravis Is he telling everyone about all those "RPC" connections again? Heard that clogged the tubes. I mean it would make sense if the last time you built a distributed system was in the 90s.

@coloradotravis Did you see the Washington Post article that @anthony shared this morning?

“ “Amazing, wow,” Musk said after hesitations and pauses. “You’re a jackass. … What a moron.”” We are all reading that in the voice and diction of GOB Bluth, right?

@jelasher @anthony Real emperor has no clothes moment happening for genpop right now
DER SPIEGEL Survey: Musk Destroys Tesla Image in Germany

Germans have a disastrous view of Tesla, with company founder Elon Musk's behavior hardly helping. Whether from a likeability or quality perspective, the Tesla brand is far behind its German competitors.

DER SPIEGEL

@chaos @coloradotravis

I would love to get a Ron Howard sitcom on the fall of Twitter and the Musk empire—sort of Arrested Development meets Silicon Valley? I’d settle for a mockumentary told from the perspective of his #1, most credulous fan (“Tesla stock is still a great buy, I’m sure the cyber truck will arrive any day…why would anybody want to buy a Ford lightening when they could have this coupe that vaguely resembles a real truck!?”).

@jelasher @coloradotravis Take my money and make it!

I hear Glass Onion has a Musk character played by Edward Norton Jr.

@coloradotravis Unfortunately, The Realization only works if you have an area of expertise in which you know more than Musk and can tell he's just spouting BS. Most people don't.
