@nisreen Trouble is I used to find I couldn’t really put it out of my mind until tomorrow (compartmentalised is difficult) and in the end it just prolonged the stress.

@AndrewPRLevi There’s another problem as well:
Many railed (correctly) about Johnson lying & debasing politics & that he would say anything for power but are now happy with Starmer saying anything for power.
This brings our whole political system into disrepute & is a reason people say all politicians are the same.

Never posted any of our photos before but thought I'd send you this one as you said your son loves big animals.
This was our 1st photo on our 1st safari and we had just arrived in Kenya after flying over night & thought we were going straight to our lodge but the driver stopped and said look over there. Our cameras were in the back behind a grill and we had to reach through grab a body, lens & film and this was the result - its still one of our favourites because of the memories.

@timsmalley We were very very lucky and we managed to go on several safaris and have seen lots of the magnificent wildlife including lions, leopards, ostrich and many other large and small birds, elephants (both African & Indian), tigers, giraffes hippos, crocodiles, wildebeests, cheetahs all sorts of antelope and even Lemurs and chameleons in Madagascar.
All of them wonderful memories.

@timsmalley So glad to hear photography is helping you and photos are great.
My wife and I were semi serious amateur wildlife photographers in the 90s and we are currently digitising all our old safari holiday slides and negatives and making them into photobooks it's very therapeutic.
