What fascinates me about this chess position is its origin. It was published in a manuscript by Al Adli in about 840 AD.
Al Adli was a great player of a game called Shatranj, a predecessor of modern chess. The pieces on the board, king, knight and rook moved the same as they do in modern chess, so even though this position was first studied well over 1000 years ago, it still has relevance today.
#Deepfakes are everywhere, but #DigitalForensics investigators are fighting back:
I am *crying*
Edit - this was sent to me so I didn't credit - I sort of found it (of course) on Reddit!
