I was really looking forward to todays presentation by @llamasoft_ox at Retrogathering.

and it was great fun! πŸ‘I'm not even going to try to describe it more because it wouldn't do it justice.

Thanks for coming Jeff and for the extra little history about the creation of Hover Bovver!

Merry Christmas!

Today I've discovered 3 things that might be of interest to those looking at SIDKick Picos.

1. It's almost a perfect match for a Reloaded MK1 board. No soldering, no grabbers. Just plug in a couple of cables and you've got stereo with a 2nd SID at D420 from the MK1s 3.5mm jack

2. It won't fit underneath the keyboard in a C64C with a Reloaded MK1, you'll need to use something like a SIDFX adapter board to move it.

Time for some excellent #C64 music on Radio Free Matlock!

Finally found time to switch from a 110v PSU to a 220v one in the 1571. Works like a charm and all the voltages are correct.🀘

Too bad it turns out that the head position motor is completely shot 🫀

Anyone happen to have an an extra Newtronics D502 mechanism lying around?

Can't seem to find them for sale in any of the usual places...

Tonight it's time for the Chip SID Show again!
Looking forward to yet another great mix #c64 tunes!🎢⌨️

Streaming from 9 PM UK time on https://radiofreematlock.co.uk/

This batch of #c64 tapes showed up a couple of days ago πŸ˜€βŒ¨οΈπŸ•ΉοΈ

Looking forward to trying out some of the game demos!

Merry Christmas!

Cool device!

Disconnected the drive in my SPARC Classic the other day and replaced it with a PiSCSI that's using a PiZero with WiFi.

Right now it's simulating:
A floppy drive
Two 9.1 GB hard drives
and a CDROM device which I used to install Solaris 9 πŸ€“
and I can switch CDs and floppies using a webpage πŸ˜€
