I’m winding down with two excellent clients I’ve been working with since January, which means I’ve got some availability for new work coming up soon.

If you need a designer who thinks deeply about systems and teams, and who will ooh and/or ahh over an especially pretty serif, I’d love to chat with you!

Here’s more about me, how I work, and some work I’ve done: https://ethanmarcotte.com/work/

Hi, I’m Ethan. I’m a web designer who helps companies make beautiful sites and services that work everywhere.

@festal It's fascinating to see how the different frames are created. Thanks for sharing.
Just yesterday I read this post by @sophie on her wonderful blog, where she explains her opposing viewpoint regarding programming.

@waldoj I just heaved the heaviest sigh imagining where this is going next
@knizer I believe, unfortunately, that it's only men's.
@MelkyWay I'm a little worried that it's already in Iowa, along with my neighbor's trash can contents
@MelkyWay yeeesh

@knizer bear with me here, but one of my ex coworkers runs an amazing march madness bracket. Once everyone signs up, you can use the "groups" feature to keep track of just your friends. Nothing to administer. You will get emails making fun of your picks when they lose though.

If you work as a software developer and you don’t want to use LLM coding tools… where do you work and are you able to follow your values there? If you’re leaving tech, where are you headed next?

My work was pretty late it seems to the “you must try it at least” mandate but it’s here now and idk really where it’s not, if anywhere.
