Building a DOS ChatGPT client in 2023
With the recent attention on ChatGPT and OpenAI’s release of their APIs, many developers have developed clients for modern platforms to talk to this super smart AI chatbot. However I’m pretty sure almost nobody has written one for a vintage platform like MS-DOS. This client now supports Hugging Face API and text to speech (TTS) capability. More info on TTS is found at the later part of this post.

Dan GillmorSure, TikTok is terrible in many ways. But the hypocrisy of its critics, especially members of Congress, is almost beyond belief.
The problem with TikTok is the same one we have with countless other Internet products: They are relentless violators of our privacy and security.
Fix that, and you've fixed TikTok.
Democrats are just as bad as Republicans on this. And so is Big Journalism, which mostly just amplifies the lies.
This is a moral panic with a mercantile edge.
